BeaterDaichi
So since the protection of 75 hp came out with paying 1 million, A lot of people have dropped having HP covered now as a protected stat but I still refuse to drop it. My reason for it, is that 75 doesn't seem enough to me and the time it takes to train back up is a nightmare also 75 hp compared to 99 is a huge gap, d bow can't spec you out (Only in void can hit that high if I'm correct) and nothing else really while having 75 you can get spec out by a few things. My friend thinks It's a little odd but that 1 million I could put into better gear or throw into a stat or something and training some stats takes a long time but stun alch is like 900exp and melee isn't too hard to train up compared to hp which even on 5x is a nightmare. I would love to hear people thoughts on this.
AC Abyssal
I completely agree with you. Hence why I didn't decide to spend 1mil for the 75hp. It just seems too little. Maybe if it was a 85hp insurance mark, I'd do it. At 75hp, you can be specced/dbow'd/combo'd out fairly easily by someone who's maxed - granted, same with if you're at 85hp - but chances are a lot less especially with brews. I'll always be protecting my HP (currently 86hp), and keeping it at lvl 99 when it gets there. All other stats are so quick to train
BeaterDaichi
Yeah. I'm at 70 def and 84 hp atm so I can tank quite well just the one hit rambo spec that I'm only worried about.
W A RNI N G
Yeah, I just recently bought insurance so I feel a little better about the hp's not dropping like crazy. However, I feel like it should almost be a given that hp shouldn't drop regardless.
Speed Addict
i just protect HP and my highest stat, fuck hp insurance
Mercy plz 3
75 hp isn't much but it is a good threshold. I probably would just insure 75 until about 90 hp, then switch to protecting it, because i feel as if protecting range and prayer is much better and if i don't protect one of them and die occasionally i will eventually get up to that 1m cost to insure hp. German Specs
I tell you how i plan to do it: atm iam at wyverns - saving 99 range and going for high hp (95-99). go for 5-10k kills to fund galtar and a sick deposit box then i will quest ALOT, get DT and everything done afterwards i will train my melee stats and safe 99 str and let go off 99 range. then i will go for 94 mage, which will be safed instead of 99 hp. because if i die i have to get back attack and defence levels anyway, which will always be around 80 to 85 when i pk. Then i get HP xp back too, so no reason to safe 99 hp over 94 magic in the endgame...
BeaterDaichi
That not a bad plan. I was going to do that at the start but I changed my mind when I saw some d bow spec lol
Donkey
i never protected hp right from the start it was range and defence, if i dropped 70-40 defence that would take hours of long range slow training slow money slow slayer xp, but if i dropped 70-40 hp its good xp good money and the only difference is i need to take 2 more sharks per trip, it would make a difference if we were edgeville pking but in dmm i think defence is more important then hp least of all because it takes alot longer to train
