takeudown
So we've all had some special place where we grind our lives away (cough cough Yaks, rock crabs, guards, goblins) cough! Is there a more efficient way to get things done and power level without spending an arm and three legs on firecape, dboots, whips, and rune knives for training? There IS! (note: this topic is only for those who don't have a meticulous and 'set in stone' training method and is serious about serious training :P) Let's just use Yaks as an example. Yaks have 50 hitpoints. If you are wearing moderate-strength boosting gear @ around 85 strength, your dscimmy max should be around 23 (dont quote me on that) For meleers to boost their XP/Hour, use super strength potions, they are only 3-4k for (3 to 4 dose potions respectively) They are definitely worth the price for the hours they last! use prayer flicking. Yes, this is only for the most serious of carpal tunnel contenders. I'll also give you another hint for you with the automatic gear switchers, hint hint, you can bind "F keys" to the Quick Pray button.. <<not gonna say any further than that or support it, however if one were to go against my advice, your wrists will survive a lot of abuse. Use ALL your special attack. Even if you are ranging, either switch to a magic shortbow or DDS... all the XP adds up! For you rangers, same as above, magic shortbow spec with rune arrows doesn't hurt once in a while, and over the course of 5 hours of training really adds up. For magers, I guarantee splashing is the cheapest XP you will ever get, ever, however I will list out the most common methods of magic training by XP gain. Multi-target barraging- up to 1.1m+ xp/hour (this method is dangerous as alll hell!!) locations: Bandits in the desert, Skeleton Monkeys Stun Alching- ~850k xp/hr (this method is safe, however, be very weary of misclicks! this method is expensive) Curse Cursing ~unknown xp/hr (350k xp/hr as far as I'm aware) this method is cheaper than stun alching, but will also mess your wrists up and risks you misclick-skulling (((From level 82-94 magic is it roughly 101,000 fire strike splashes. This will cost you roughly 1.3m GP. This is the cheapest method, only secondary to manually fire striking YAK COURTESY! If you are new to the Yaks and would like to avoid getting speccd out, don't allow your character to AFK/stand there. Yes, it's very close to the safe zone, and yes the level 110 with the whip standing next to you is drooling on his keyboard over your bank key. Yak trainers that have clans to back them go from 0 to 100 before you know what's going on, you're dead. Don't get lured!!! If someone at the Yaks skulls and runs north, don't run after him. Even if he's a low level/easy kill, do NOT cross that bridge: it's multi and there's probably a clan waiting for your bank. For Ranger: Don't Attack Yaks from across the pen/map when there's one right next to you. The other 3 guys next to you with the Dscimmies will highly appreciate that. For ALL: try to kill the NPCs as fast and efficiently as possible so more may respawn and the flow will continue. --->><<>>please remember, this is a Guide and Suggestion Topic. This is BY NO MEANS telling you how to train Yaks, please stick to what you feel comfortable to and use this for reference. Joux
Yeah that's something which makes me cringe, if you have the attack and money to buy a spec wep for the skill you're training, bring it. Only helps your exp per hour.

KillingKiwi
I like the tips, how hard is it to complete the quests in order to go there? I'm still waiting to get 94 mage and 99 range before melee training, but I'd like to train melee here.

The quest(s) to get there is about the easiest quest you'll ever do on deadman!... well.... maybe nearly the safest. Fremmenik trials takes place mostly in safe zones, and you only need to complete the Fremmenik Isles quest up until the point where you have to give the king the raw tuna and [noted] coal. Easy easy easy easy. ALL of the level requirements can be achieved in less than a day from scratch as well. GL questing, better now then never as deadman is becoming a more dangerous place by the day.
