Honor G0dz
Hey guys, I am using the standard Apple headphones that come with the iPhone to use as my mic but I am having issues and am hoping someone can help. I have a laptop I use to play that has both a mic plug in, and a headphone plugin. However, when I try to use teamspeak and talk, the mic picks up my laptop fan, keyboard strokes, and mouse clicks. I am trying to find a way to fix this but have been unsuccessful, so if any of you know how to fix this, please leave a comment below. Thanks

Naughty leaf
try lowering your the volume of your recording device in sound settings, usually will make it so your mic does not pick up as much background noise.
Horkis
It usually the boost that activates with such mics. Right click on the sound icone at the bottom right of your screen, go to recording devices, double click your microphone then under the levels tab, put the boost to zero. Should be just fine :)
Honor G0dz
All I have right now is the apple headphones, @Horkis I tried your suggestion and it hasn't worked unless I'm doing it wrong :\
kid kakashi
Not much you can do about that i'm afraid, lowering the boost and sensitivity can only do so much... Using push to talk gets rid of the keyboard noise as you're probably not using it at that moment i suggest u ask a mic/headset for christmas tho
