It is Boehner's job to control his party which would be the Republicans. This shut down would not have happened if the two parties did make a compromise. But if this country was allowing itself to pass laws and such easily this government would not be hearing the voices of the American citizens. I want to wrap it up with this. You may think America was terrible now but go back a few hundred years and it's a lot worse. This is federal government not state government. For it to reach a state government would take awhile and it would cause issues as well. Anything affiliated with the federal government would be shut down or works would be off work for awhile. At least most things are ran by state.
