How To Provide Pictures of Your P2P/F2P PKing Supplies

In your introduction you MUST provide pictures of your PKing supplies as part of your application. This will be a simple step-by-step guide on how to successfully do so in the correct format FROM SCRATCH.

 

If you already know how to do a certain number of steps, then please scroll down to the part where you are having issues. (Steps 12 + 13 shows how to CORRECTLY input your image as we require)

 

Step 1)

 

Open your PVP/P2P/F2P tab in your bank as appropriate where ALL of your PKing supplies are visible.

Step 2)

 

Take a SCREENSHOT of the appropriate tab as required by pressing the "prt sc" (short for print screen) button on your keyboard once.

 

 

Step 3)

 

Once you have taken your screenshot, open the "Paint" programme on your computer (installed by default to everyone) by going on your START menu and searching for "paint".

 

 

Step 4)

 

Once opened PASTE your screenshot onto Paint by either pressing CTRL + V on your keyboard OR by clicking on "select" at the top bar and then right-clicking your white screen and clicking "Paste".

Step 5)

 

You should now CROP your screenshot to your specific PK tab / Runescape screen by dragging down your mouse from one corner to the other. A dotted rectangle will appear around the area of the image that you have cropped and will be inserted into your introduction. 

 

Example: Process of dragging down from one cyan point to the other. The dotted-rectangle will show the cropped image going into the PK picture.

 

 

Step 6)

 

Now right click your rectangular dotted rectangle and click "crop" to have your newly cropped image formed.

 

 

Step 7)

 

Now click on "FILE" in the top-left corner of your screen, and then roll your cursor over "SAVE AS" and then click on "PNG PICTURE"

 

(PNG image types gives you the best and highest quality image, so it is best to use this file format when saving any screenshot to your computer)

 

 

 

Step 8) 

 

Choose a file name and then save it to an appropriate area of your computer that you can refer to again when converting your image to a link.

 

 

Step 9)

 

Now go to www.imgur.com and upload your image by clicking on "upload image" marked in a blue box at the top of the page.

 

 

Step 10)

 

Next click on "browse your computer" and then search for the image that you just saved to your computer and then click on "open".

 

 

Step 11)

 

You have now successfully uploaded your image online and converted it into a link which will be needed when inputting into your introduction (AND ANY OTHER TOPIC MADE).

 

Now highlight the text in the 2nd option called "Direct Link (email & IM)". Then right-click the highlighted link and click on "copy" OR press CTRL+C on your keyboard.

 

 

Step 12)

 

Once you have your link copied, GO BACK to your introduction page and UNDER the "Picture of your P2P Supplies [15 SETS MINIMUM REQUIRED]" and UNDER the "Picture of your F2P Supplies [5 SETS MINIMUM REQUIRED]" click on the image icon on the 2nd row of your topic tools (shown below)

 

 

Step 13)

 

NOW you should PASTE (CTRL+V or right-click and paste) your link into the box and then click "OK".

 

 

 

 

Congratulations! You have successfully uploaded your Images into their appropriate places in the CORRECT manner. This is also how you upload ALL images on our forums if you wish to post any achievements, PK kills etc. in a topic or a reply.
