poop
Introduction to A/C invitation via five page essay During my invitation to A/C during Deadman Mode series of runescape there will be several useful things that will warrant the invitation. In this essay there will be points to elaborate my introduction to the clan. These points will be secluded to DMM events only as that and ironman mode as well with occasional pk trips on a pure with my friends is all I do currently during these times of COVID-19. I can vouch that within these DMM tournaments I will be very useful towards some aspects of the game for things for the following; Call outs, Spotting potential “FAT” lewts, some quest items such as magic logs or what my alt is collecting for myself, Protection of other members of the CC when noticed that they are being harassed, helpful tips to newer members, following up to questions in cc/discord/forums to assure proper entry level of questions being answered and entries of new members. Continuance of being a member can also bring the following alts, Heblore, fletching, construction, etc. This also leads into progression of character, indulgence of time, trustworthy trades, and player skill knowledge. Call outs are very important to ensure proper handling of clan members to find potential player kills, escapes, and information for other aspects of DMM. These call outs are typically done through Pm’s or cc chat and need to be clear and precise in order to get clear reliable information out as fast as possible. Incorrect information or “useless” information can be very detrimental as it could lose a kill, get another clan member killed, or expose information to incorrect individuals. These types of call outs have a fine line to ensure safe and correct information is spread and have a very important role in DMM for those pking and those who are skilling/grinding something for the team Spotting potential loots/kills is always something needed within a clan, team, or even individuals. Determining these kinds of loots as “easy” or “fat” is something that takes a seasoned veteran to do more effectively. If you send the wrong vibe to the clan members about a potential loot and that clan member dies because the information you have them was invalid about it being “east lewt” the clan member could die himself. This also applies to “fat lewts” as its unwise to call clan members to come attack a single target that has very minimal risk and waste everyone’s time. No one likes to be called to gank some guy with a dorgshun bow and a mystic hat because someone made a wrong call saying its good loot, or east loot. Obtaining quest items can sometimes be a real nuisance in DMM. It is items like these such as magic logs that I tend to use an alt account for to obtain the items rather quickly. Typically in return for these types of “duties” friends have let me use their POH for prayer etc in exchange for items that my alt has been used for. These types of agreements are clan based financials that would be very useful for both the clan and I for members who are trying to push by other obstacles like training or other quests instead of collecting items. In short it’s a give and take scenario that works in both the individuals and the clans favor. Protection for other clan members comes with the job of being in a clan for DMM. It’s not always you have a buddy on your side that can stick up for you when you need it during DMM. However, by being in a clan allows you to understand who is allied, and when a clan member is being attacked, or abused by someone else it becomes possible to step in and defend that player. I personally have helped many other people by “killing the aggressor” but at the same time I can admit that I had fun doing it, so it was to my benefit as well. During my Pk sessions it would be good to know that I have allies that are willing to stick their neck out to help, as well as for me to be able to defend and have a fun time with as well. Helpful tips for members might seem like a small task, however, during DMM no xp capped ways of training you can find it hard for yourself to make time to give out tips while training. These sorts of things I always seem to do during DMM seasonals to IRL friends and others that I meet during the seasonal. It is a very small task that goes a long way to be able to accurately answer questions about where to find things or how things should be done in the game mode. Even if no one ever seems to need help or asks questions its always nice to be able to have someone to ask if the time arises. It is things like this that I will always be watching the CC for and help answer myself if I am capable. Following up on peoples questions in discord can also be a task sometimes. It is for members of the CC to ensure that these sorts of things are taken care of in the discord or on the website. Its imperative for important things to be discussed and decided on in a timely fashion. If a question Is asked and no one answers in an appropriate time the barer of the question might make a wrong decision, log out, or close discord or the website out of frustration. This also applies to new applicants to the CC. I Personally am unaware of how/who allows those inside the cc and how the process is, However, there are those that I see in the cc and discord talking about joining several times. It is these scenarios that I can lead them to the correct location to have their application checked and send them on the correct path. Its friendly talk like this that also can shape the players feelings about the clan and make a better environment for their invitation to the clan. Clan member alts as a whole are there to help the individual progress their main account as much as they can. It is these alts that I mentioned before above and are very essential to DMM for any individual. These alts, however, play an even more essential role to clans. It is through conversation that each player of the alts can coordinate time-savers and ways to make DMM experience much more enjoyable. By condensing each players “must-do” section of collecting each and every item themselves. Progression of character comes from and only from time spent with each other. Being in a clan or a group of people can be fun, however, I also believe its very crucial to “leave your mark”. I enjoy spending time with others on runescape and especially DMM. I find it easy to make lasting relationships with those who enjoy playing the same thing. This comes mainly from pking for me, however, its also a heart-warming experience to find those “champions” roaming around runescape. Who doesn’t like spending some time with a noob wearing Granite plate body, green d hide chaps, and a mithril sword? x D I personally am one to indulge myself in this game. I think I play it way to frequently and for many hours each time I play. However, I can say this is also a perk when its comes to making friends with others. I enjoy giving my time towards goals and helping others with their goals as well. I was a team builder in many of the IRL things that I’ve accomplished and enjoy still following the same paths as then. Within the game of runescape it’s a community broken up several times, and it’s a fresh of breath air to become something bigger with the community. Being trust worthy on runescape is really a far fetched thing in my eyes. There has been only a handful of times that I’ve found someone like this and I don’t believe that anyone should really find themselves in a position to openly trust people so easily. This doesn’t mean that a person is un-trustworthy in this case. Being with a team mate and knowing they have your back is very essential when it comes to the mental state when pking, questing, or even just chilling. It is these guidelines that help for a full experience to ones runescape endeavors. Player skills are one of the most crucial things when it comes to being in a clan. I understand that there are some that still do individual things for themselves and kind of “blend in the crowd” and never shine. It’s the players that stand out from their skills that really shine and become content creators or just people known that “you don’t want to mess with”. This also applies to skills outside of pking and can be a very useful trait to have on the clan side of your own. Player knowledge comes from time played on runescape, watching others play, or just dedication to the game. I personally have played since runescape classic was the main game and haven’t stopped since. I was around for the changes, the downfalls, and even the incredible mistakes that jagex has put us through. It is with this knowledge as a main, a pure, and as an ironman that ive come to know the game in such a way that there’s almost nothing I cant do. This knowledge will definitely come in hand to a clan that needs has a niche part of the game needing answered. In closing there are many aspects of being in a clan that will be beneficial to the clan, as well as myself. I’m always looking to better myself in some way or form and to create an even better experience of the game for myself. From calls, to knowledge of the game, alts, helpful tips, and many more aspects that I can bring for the clan. It’s always been fun playing with others on the friends list but now I think its time for a switch up. I would much appreciate the invitation to A/C and will prove myself to be an awesome member to have. I’ve been looking forward for an opportunity like this and appreciate the time and consideration to allow me to prove some worth the clan. I look forward to a reply and hope that Everyone does well in this DMM event. Sincerely, I Love Bewts “Iron Bewts”
