It is that time again to talk about the next content poll. We have reached our 18th content poll and we have something particularly special for you. Content poll #18 will launch on Wednesday the 16th of April until Wednesday the 24th of April. So, what can you expect?

Bank Tabs

When bank tabs were added to RuneScape originally, the bank's behaviour changed so that items would shuffle themselves up as soon as you withdrew a stack. This made it hard to withdraw items rapidly because the bank screen kept shifting as you clicked. For OSRS, we will not make the items shuffle themselves up in that way, and we will endeavour to make our bank less laggy than the version released originally.

Some players don't want the bank screen to change, and have stated their intention of voting no because they don't want to see the list of tabs at the top of the screen. So everyone can get the most out of this update , we will add a discreet 'Bank settings' button to the bank screen, allowing players to decide whether or not the bank tab panel is displayed. The bank settings menu can also offer more convenient access to the Bank PIN controls.

Question: Should we alter the bank to give you bank tabs?

We have also been scouring the database of suggestions that you send us and we have a number of combat related updates that we would like to poll to you.

When a players is in the Wilderness they can release their chinchompas so no attacking PKers will get them as loot. So the PKers can get the loot we would like to make the chinchompas appear on the ground similar to what happens to them when a player dies in the Wilderness.

Question: When you manually drop a stack of chinchompas in the Wilderness, should they fall to the ground like they do if you die with them?

Question: Banners & flags, such as the Castle Wars team flags, have controlled and defensive combat stances. Should we change them to have accurate, aggressive, controlled and defensive combat stances?

Question: Should you be able to imbue the Salve amulet and its (e) version at Nightmare Zone for 800k points to have their effect in Ranged and Magic. The effects will behave in the same way as they do for melee and will only apply to the primary target in a multi target attack.

Question: When a monster dies and drops a clue, should the clue appear in addition to other drops rather than instead of them?

Question: Should the fight caves display a notification showing current wave in the chatbox? 

Question: Should the entire Castle Wars lobby area be safe in PvP worlds to avoid luring?

Question: Should we add a +20 ranged defence bonus to Bandos boots?

Question: Should we change the crystal shield’s negative ranged bonus from -10 to -5?

In 2008, we updated the Bracelet of Regeneration’s stats as it had none. We would like to offer to do the same for the bracelet in Old School. The stats we would change this bracelet to would be: 



Question: Should the bracelet of regeneration have combat stats similar to what it had in the 2008 update?

Question: When a player is hit with ice barrage, should the spell animation be different based on whether that player is already frozen?

Question: Should the rock cake be changed to damage you for 10% of your health per click to help Dharok users?

There are also a number of other changes we would like to offer you. For example some of you have asked us to change some doors and gates to be permanently open. Here are some that players have suggested already. Let us know what other doors or gates you'd like us to change, and we'll see what we can add to the poll.

• Falador farming patch gates
• Troll Stronghold by the generals
• Castle Wars lobby
• Duel Arena gate

Question: Should the doors or gates near the Falador farming patch, generals in the Troll Stronghold, Castle Wars lobby and Duel Arena be changed to be open permanently? 

We have had numerous requests to add the toggle roof button to the options interface. We want to offer you this, but with so many new buttons being added to the options menu, we should really restructure that too. If you mock up how you would like the new options menu to look and tweet it at us (@jagexAsh, @JagexJohnC, @JagexMatK, @JagexReach) we could be using yours.

Question: Should we restructure the interface and add a button to remove roofs ? We would still keep the ::toggleroof command.

Mod Reach has been working with the game camera and has created the ability to take a close up screenshot of your character. This will be particularly useful if you want to share your favourite Old School moments with your friends.



Question: Should we add the ability for you to take a close up screenshot of your character so you can share your best Old School moments with your friends?

Question: Should we reduce the cost of a clue scroll from Trouble Brewing to 300 pieces of eight? This will mean it will take about an hour to get one.

Question: Should we add a right click options for skipping dialogue when repairing pouches at the Dark Mage, buying rope from Ned, travelling on a ship from Lokar Searunner and Captain Bentley and the process of going through the Shantay Pass?

Question: Should you be able to see the remaining charges on binding necklaces?

Question: Should we change the name of unfinished potions to include which herb is in the vial? For example: Guam potion (unf).

Question: Should we speed up adding items into a compost bin?

Question: If you hover over your stats, would you like to see the remaining XP until the next level?

Question: Should you be able to right click spirit trees and choose the destination spirit tree you want to teleport directly to?
