(broken power supply) Motherboard could be broken in multiple ways, weather it be sockets, it itself, anything that would prohibit function If you're lucky it could just be your socket or extension lead if using that, try a new socket in a different part of the building you're in Worst case scenario you're power supply just fried your whole computer (possibly just the motherboard) damaging all other components in the computer, If you ever found / find any burning smell, fumes from possible melting plastic ect. This is sadly probably the case, and the most likely one. Good luck on finding a fix! @ My CPU would always spike up to 99% and 100% causing extreme computer lag, could that have something to do with it? Thanks for your reply by the way Could be the CPU is busted due to continuous strain / improper cooling, if that is the case though I do think some of the other components if connected to the power supply, typically if not turned on but connected to an electric current most graphics cards will have a small green light to indicate power is running through it, some fans have similar lights like this as well.
