Hey guys,

So last week we put out a dev blog on our proposed Seasonal Deadman changes.

We decided on these changes after heavily reviewing community feedback on the issues. However, many of you still aren't convinced the concept of letting unskulled players teleport instantly without a timer is a good idea. Mostly because this would mean single Pkers would be required to Pk on the normal spellbook with Teleblock, or bring a friend to Teleblock for them.

In response to this feedback, we’re now looking at an alternative that can hopefully please a larger majority of you.

After speaking with a few key Deadman Mode Seasonal players, they gave me their thoughts and suggested this would be a better solution.

The idea is to allow unskulled players to teleport instantly - so long as they haven’t been in combat for 10 seconds or more.

Example: Player 1 is killing hill giants in the Edgeville dungeon, when he spots a Pker. Player 1 clicks his teleport tab, but it's too late as the Pker managed to attack him from distance. Player 1 runs and climbs up and down the ladder, evading his opponent and makes a break for it. After 10 seconds of being chased, but notbeing in combat, Player 1 clicks his teleport tab and teleports away.

Please give me your thoughts on this idea and explain why you think it is better or worse than the initial idea of letting unskulled players teleport instantly regardless of being in combat or not.

I agree with this, honestly even a little less than 10 seconds so people don't bitch as much haha
This would still leave a small need for tbers if that's what they want so bad and then it's still fair for solo pkers in singles.
