Forum Posting

As most of you have noticed, our numbers and DMM in general is on a decline. While this might look like bad news for us we still have plenty of potential to recruit and grow our community. One of the big things we need to work on as a whole is our forum activity.

When we recruit new potential members to our clan the first thing they do is check out our forums. When a new prospect checks out our forums we want them to see that it is thriving and full of activity. The last thing someone wants to see is a dead forum. A dead forum to some means a dead clan. And those people will move on to the next best thing because of that.

What can we do?

1. Intros

Our flow of new prospects are slowing down which means it should not be overwhelming to post on each new intro and let them know they are welcome. Let them know what you like and what they can improve on. 

2. Applications

What I see from most people is that they only post on the voting topics not on the applications. We need to let people know what we think about their apps. Feedback is key for improvement. Without it, people will assume that if they were declined than it was for no reason and it would not motivate them to reapply.

3. Other threads

We PK and PVM quite a bit in this clan. What is see is a lack of posting because of it. When you get a pk, post the loot on our kill picture topic. When we get a sick drop from a boss, post it in our pvm section. We want to see our fellow clan mates achievements and loots. 

Have any ideas? post a suggestion or an idea. These forums are in place to share our experiences and knowledge with our clan. After all, were are a community, lets show the world what we are made of.

Yea guys get more involved, sure teamspeak activity is great but our forums should be just as great.

A lot of people browse our forums and talk on whatsapp while on there phones.

Good post, agree tbh people would like to see an active forums, it just makes it seem more like a community if everyone is constantly posting +1 (gotta work on this myself)

Yeah nice post man I recently haven't been to active myself since winter break ended and school started but I try to vote on apps and chill on teamspeak for a few hours

Everything which you have mentioned is completely accurate in the perspective of needing individuals to know that it was a good decision to come here..

 

I have quite a few ideas in conjunction with creating an attraction for AC, in the ability to provide that attraction, to create the want for activity on the forums. However, I will only speak with certain individuals about this rather than posting it publicly.

 

The Intros are fantastic, although.. I believe we should be taking an extra step in our intro members, along with our AC current members+. Considering that individuals typically join a clan to be able to have backup, goals that they want to achieve. I have a few ideas, but implementing them is slightly difficult to elaborate.

to be honest theres a lot of bad applications/intros where people dont go by the guidelines but im not gonna correct them everytime lol. it seems like when u guys ask for at least a paragraph most people think 1-2 sentences is a paragraph somehow?? just my 2 cents tho
