Fletching might be nice for dragon bolts soon, but stams/brews will probably be insane profit so I'd invest there.

We never attacked an AC member that I am aware of. Someone claimed we attacked Subway but we he was in safe zone so we wouldn't be able to attack him if we tried. The second we saw nacts we told everyone off and didn't attack. I never even attacked anyone when they killed us. We know its our fault for not being known or in the TS, but all we asked was for some items back. I had a dscim, like 3 dlongs, 3 dds, and a rune scim on me plus a decent key. Didn't think it would be such a big deal to get the dscim and dds back for rebuild.

For range I would just go drags and mage Fire Giants I think.

What is the advantage of using event rpg over a scimmy? Is it just because you one shot the monsters and event rpg is faster attack speed?

I'm planning on rushing dscim too. I'm just hoping the prison isn't already camped by the time I start the quest. I think it will like 2.5-3 hours before I am ready for MM and by that point people could have just rushed to camp the prison.

Yeah. I just don't know how far I can confidently lower those stats. I just have a bad feeling people are going to camp MM right off the bat and I want to get it done asap.

If you are talking about the 1-10 10x, 10-20 9x, ..., 90-99 1x they changed that. It would actually be faster now because 1-50 is 10x and 50-99 would be normal 5x.

What do you guys think is the lowest level you would attempt this quest? I want to rush it because I think it will be camped again so I need to get the stats. I'd think 40ish hp and 43 prayer would be good enough. Has anyone done it with lower or know good stats to get before attempting? I'm going to test is out tonight on a new account to see how hard it is.

Herblore will be interesting with the GE update. I was one of the top people in herblore in the first DMM but quit leveling it on like the 3rd day because buying and trading felt like a huge xp waste. Wish I stuck with it.. I would have been rich!

How has killing people in safe zoned changed since the original? I think you can still attack people if they are in the safe zone but you aren't. Does the key and loot still drop on the ground and can be tele grabbed?

1-50 at 10x then 50-99 at 5x seems a bit silly if their goal was to stop snowballing.

First season I went mage/range got rank 80ish and barrows gloves but didn't get many kills and eventually died and quit. Second season I went melee only and just speced people out all day and got a ton of kills and made good money off it. This season I am starting melee (rushing MM & defender) then ancients. I will probably then train range while doing slayer/getting money for mage.

Damn I was kind of warming up to the idea of most people being stuck at lower stats. Looks like I am going back to getting ancients.

Iban will be incredibly powerful if you rush it and you will have a longer window to use it with the new xp rates. In the long run ancients will be better but I bet Iban will be a lot of fun early on.

I am going to try something similar but I want to try and rush Gnome Stronghold/MM before they are camped to shit. I will go melee get defender then switch to ranging dragons.

How fast is 43 prayer at lavas compared to just killing chickens and spam burying bones?

Keep in mind the new xp rates. Getting 94 or even 82 mage will be much slower. I think I have canceled my plans for DT rush because of that.

I got 70 prayer and got a lot of money doing black dragons in taverly and only saw 2 pkers. The problem is that the grapple is way too dangerous. A pker can get in 4-5 barrage and a dds spec as you cross and it drops your prayer automatically and you can't eat. I'm 101 cmb with 87 hp and only lived with 18 hp when ostarjengi attacked me there. I think I got very lucky with splashes. I probably won't go back there and go to blues at watchtower instead.

I agree. The way they dealt with suiciders was so stupid. Jagex said they didn't want suiciders, but didn't want guarded zones to be safe. Instead of doing something to support what they said they just made it so the only reason you will die in a safe zone in suicide or missclicks. They should make it risk vs reward not just suicide or miss click.

I'm not able to go on mass trips yet, but I always planned on taking all 3 combat styles. I would hope people are focused on being stronger and not using welfare gear.
