I have recently been banned from the Clan and Clan Chat for "Luring". I would like to explain my side of the story.
Yesterday at approximately 2 PM PST I was running from the grand exchange to the edgeville monastery to pick up some monk robes to do slayer with prayer. On my journey there, I found a lvl 89 with a skull with only black d hide and a msb ranging people without freezing them. His name was Rot "something". (I dont remember the exact name) Every time I see a pker I call them out because there are always people in the clanchat saying "I am skull hunting now, call em out of if you see em boys". So like usual, I decide to call it out in the clan chat telling his level/ location/ gear/ and also mentioned that he had "rot" in his name, so be wary. One of the members (AC spirit I believe) Shows up at the GE shortcut as I was on my way back. I inform him that the pker was just west, but to be careful because it is possible he has backup. Next thing I know, he is telling everyone in the CC to be me because I am trying to lure people to ROT in Edgeville. I am asked for my teamspeak name and also kicked from that as well. The strange part to me was that a few of the other AC members found it ridiculous that I would be from ROT luring people to Edgeville of all places, when it is easily escapable by running to the shortcut north of the Grand Exchange. Another clanmate said that he was just trying to start drama, but apparently it was taken more seriously than that. His argument was that he already knew that ROT members were in a different world in Edgeville, so somehow I was supposed to know that as well and that I was baiting everyone to come. I have since been banned from the Clan and Clan chat and I would appreciate it if you would reconsider.
Points to Consider:
Many people have been putting "Rot" in their name to try to give themselves a false blanket of security in hopes of people not pursuing them further when pking.
If i was actually luring for ROT, It would make more sense for me to secretly lurk and not make too much noise in the CC.
I applied to join 8 days ago, and have interacted with a decent amount of clan members.
And Finally, I probably would not be spending this amount of effort to rejoin by making this post.
Ultimately it is your decision who you take and who you decide not to take, and I understand that.
